The 15th workshop of the CEBEC energy-efficient building project was held in Mongolia

The 15th consortium meeting of the “Energy Efficient Buildings in Extreme Continental and Sunny Climate” (CEBEC) project, funded by European Union with an aim to improve the capacity building of higher education in Mongolia, has successfully held between September 26-29, 2022 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
 
Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mongolian University of Life Sciences (MULS), German-Mongolian Institute of Resource and Technology (GMIT) from Mongolian side, along with Lund University from Sweden and Tallinn Technical University from Estonia, are collaborating on this project. In order to purchase necessary laboratory equipment, software and textbooks, and to develop the course contents that are to be taught by Mongolian universities, Lund University and Tallinn Technical University are sharing their knowledge and experience in the field.
 
During the 15th consortium meeting, attendee universities discussed the activities done regarding each work package along with their results, and planned the next steps to be taken. In addition, the participating university representatives from Europe visited facilities and laboratories at Mongolian universities, and got to know their ongoing projects. Beside that, they visited and met ongoing projects of Renewable energy in Ulaanbaatar such as windmill farm “Salkhit”, and Smart Green House in Tuv province.
