The winners of the Ecological Olympiad and scientific conference have been announced
On the occasion of World Environment Day, the symposium of the National University of Mongolia and the Ecological Olympiad on “Adapting to Climate Change” were successfully organized on June 3, 2022.
This year's symposium and olympiad were co-organized by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the United Nations Development Programme's “Improving Mongolia's Rural Climate Resilience and Risk Management” (ADAPT) Project, Mon Gazar Ecology LLC, Green Revival NGO.
Moreover, more than 90 students from 7 universities and colleges participated in the Olympiad and symposium, including the NUM, GMIT, MULS, the branch of the NUM at Erdenet, Khovd University, and the branch of the NUM at Zavkhan. Three undergraduate students received scholarships from the Ecological Olympiad including GMIT freshman student B.Tuguldur was awarded by 3rd place with 50% scholarship.
