A MoU was signed between GMIT and Institute of Physics and Technology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences
The German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology and the Institute of Physics and Technology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences have established a Memorandum of Cooperation in the fields of teaching, research, development of students and teachers.
It includes opportunities for cooperation, such as the implementation of lecturers mentorship programs, student internships, joint research projects, along with the joint contributions to the dissemination of advanced technologies and knowledge.
As part of the collaboration, the delegations of the partner organizations organized field trips to exchange information about the activities of the organization, laboratories and projects.
In addition, during the meeting, the parties emphasized there are opportunities for future cooperation in the field of renewable energy by introducing batteries, heat storage, and systems that directly produce electric heat, mineral resources processing, as well as in the field of "separation of precious metals" from waste, and in the field of environment.
