The Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament, Zandanshatar Gombojav visited at GMIT
G.Zandanshatar, Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament, S.Amarsaikhan, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the State Special Commission, G.Ganbayar, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Ch.Radnaabazar, Governor of Nalaikh District, Ts.Tsogzolmaa, former Minister of Education and Science and other officials visited at German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology.
The Speaker noted that the GMIT is a joint project of the two governments, which has been successfully implemented since 2013 with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia, the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the GIZ, and expressed support for further research projects in the field of rare earth elements and mineral processing with the university.
In addition, the Rectorate of the GMIT presented the implementation of the university campus extention project, which is being implemented with a soft loan from the German Bank for Reconstruction and Development (KfW).
Representatives got acquainted with the progress of the training and research activities of the GMIT in the academic year of 2021-2022 and exchange opinions with students about participation of the online classes.
