The sports champions of the GMIT were awarded
The Sports event of the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology was successfully organized on December 4, 5 and 12, 2021 in three types of sports including volleyball, basketball, and chess. The event is annually organized by the Student Council and Academic and Student Affairs of GMIT under the slogan of “GMIT Family” to support the friendly atmosphere of the community among all students, alumni and faculties every year. Here we introduce champions of the year:

- 2nd place:G. Batula (Bach 2)
- 3rd place: E. Enerel (Bach 3)
Women's chess tournament:
- 1st place: B. Enkhjargal (BEP)
- 2nd place: P. Khaliunzul (Bach 2)
- 3rd place: L. Baigali (Bach 4)
The most valuable player for the basketball match: Mr. A. Batbayar (Bach 3) and Mrs. M. Khulan (Bach 1). The most valuable players for the volleyball match: Mr. O. Khuselbayar (Bach 1) and Mrs. M. Buyanbilig (Bach 4). Three-point contest winners: Mr. Galbadrakh (Bach 3), Mr. B. Tuvshinbayar (BEP), and Mrs. M. Khulan (Bach 1). Overall, freshmen were awarded as the champion of this year's sports event.
In this year, Hera Equipment LLC co-organized as a sponsorship. In addition, GMIT administration's team, and the junior and senior students who were awarded by DAAD scholarships provided financial support to the event.
